The international symposium, “The Mechanics of Life Across Scales”, will be held as the 85th Fujihara Seminar with support from the Fujihara Foundation of Science. This symposium aims to accelerate progress in life-sciences through the integration of biology, physics, and mechanical engineering. The event will feature presentations by rising researchers at the forefront of their fields, who are leveraging interdisciplinary approaches to uncover the principles of designing the shape and function of living organisms across scales, from molecules to tissues.
