“An antiviral drug screening platform with a FRET biosensor for measurement of arenavirus Z assembly“
This paper shows the development of a novel FRET biosensor named Zabton to monitor the self-assembly of arena-viral Z protein. Zabton-based screening identifies a small chemical compound that inhibits arenavirus propagation.
