Job description
Our laboratory studies chromosome segregation errors in mammalian oocytes. Techniques include cell biological approaches such as live imaging, molecular approaches such as in vitro biochemical experiments, and reproductive engineering approaches such as oocyte micromanipulation. We also study chromosome instability across multiple developmental stages including egg cell and early embryonic stages. We seek a scientist who will carry out research under the laboratory’s mission, cultivate their own original research to further develop their career, and contribute to the general activities of the laboratory including training students.
The successful candidate is expected to conduct research and development on topics specified above and to contribute to the management of the laboratory. A Senior Research Scientist is also expected to assist the laboratory head.
Qualification
Doctoral degree (or equivalent research ability and background) in the relevant research field.
